Tongta is part of an archipelligo. This island has many active volcanic craters, resulting from lying on the Kermadec-Tonga subduction zone. Some islands are formed of coral. Tonga's exact location is Latitude: 23 degrees 30 S, Longitude 179 degrees W2.

The climate of Tonga is Mediterranean coastline. This is mostly due to the location. The biggest threats in Tonga are earthquakes, flooding, and tsunamis. Some of the animal life is doves, rails, starlings, kingfishers, the red-breasted musk parrot and the blue-crowned lory, reef heron and incubator birds, pigs chickens and dogs horse cows goats.
